Valencia Basket falls short in the comeback attempt on MoraBanc Andorra's court (86-84)
Valencia Basket came close to completing a comeback but ultimately lost at MoraBanc Andorra’s court by 86-84 in a game where they had a chance to win, despite being down 41-14 at the second quarter. The taronja squad gradually recovered, point by point, and took their first lead with two minutes remaining. In a nail-biting finish, Harding secured victory for the home team with a three-pointer. The orange squad was outplayed during the first fourteen minutes by an intense and aggressive MoraBanc Andorra, which was led by Kuric's shooting to build a lead that reached 27 points. Valencia Basket improved defensively, conceding only three points in the last six minutes of the first half and hitting their first three-pointers, going into halftime down by 44-26. After the break, the team found accuracy from beyond the arc, cutting the lead to eight. However, with second-chance opportunities and Andorra securing all the energy rebounds, it became difficult to close the gap further, and a local run left our team down by 13 heading into the final quarter. In the last quarter, Valencia Basket continued to press, even taking a one-point lead several times in the final stretch, but Harding's three-pointer went in while Jones's did not.
